Daily Beauty Tea's blend of fair-trade, organic Oolong and Pu-erh Tea with beautifying herbs and spices -including cacao nibs, burdock, a dash of cayenne, and so much more- supports a fiery metabolism, internal ph balance, natural detox and digestion, and your skin's exquisite function*.
{this is your daily beauty tonic. drink up, buttercup.}
Directions: Steep 1-3 tsp in either a steeping basket or your to-go mug. Steep 2-3 minutes for first cup, and re-steep, up to 3 times, increasing steep time slightly. Each steep releases more goodness. To get the full bounty of tea benefits, drink 2 or more cups a day. Each tin is enough for up to 66 cups of tea if you re-steep!
Note about caffeine: All true tea contains caffeine. caffeine is mostly steeped out in first 20-45 seconds, and can be discarded, according to many sources. (remember, tea is slightly mysterious!)
Ingredients: Wuyi and Formosa Oolong, Aged Pu-erh, Red Raspberry Leaf, Red Clover Herb, Dandelion Root, Astragalus, Dandelion Leaf, Cacao Nibs, Sarsaparilla, Burdock, Rosehips, Cayenne
All ingredients conscientiously sourced to be Organic and Fair-Trade. Pacific West Local when Possible (can't grow ginger in Oregon!) Tins are manufactured in USA, and labels are soy-based ink, peelable, and printed Colorado. Seriously, there isn't an angle of our tea line that isn't so cool! Re-Use, Re-fill or Recycle.
Melissa's Notes: This was BijaBody's first product! I worked so hard on this blend, to get something that tasted as delicious as it provided gorgeous benefits. I want people I adore to be drinking this tea regulalry, because I can't imagine not, and I have to share what I love in order to enjoy it fully. I get emails regulalry letting me know how much they love this tea, and it makes me so happy. I like this blend throughout the day, and good, hard work is pretty dependent on it. I like it iced, but prefer it hot. The touch of spice is so wonderful, and perfectly complements a cold, rainy day as well as a hot day! Have you ever noticed that the world's hottest locations drink tea and spicy things during the day? Lots of studies show it actually cools you off...
If you don't know much about the herbs and spices in this blend, do some poking around. It'll impress you. Oolong and Pu-erh have shown in numerous studies to improve your metabolism significantly over the course of regular tea drinking over a few months. That is pretty darn good. Ancient Japanese poetry referred to these teas as the teas that "cut the fat", and studies have proven that it enhances the rate and effectiveness of fat and protein digestion. Juxtapose that with the myriad goodness of the herbs and spices, which include purifying your blood, providing strong doses of antioxidants, and being general health tonics, and you've got tea really worth drinking. I truly hope you love it as much as we do. Get to know it, and you'll understand. We'd give you all the numbers and research statistics, but we really don't want to play a supplement game. We just want you to drink good tea that enhances your loveliness.
{p.s. guys, it's totally ok to snatch this tea from your lady's cupboard, but better if you get some for yourself. Don't worry, it won't make you girly, just smart. }

This is a great blend, and I love that it's spicy. It's energizing yet soothing and feels very cleansing to drink, especially first thing in the morning. I've been drinking this tea for a long while, and it's a valued part of my day. Beauty and health absolutely go together, and this tea is a great part of a healthy beauty routine.
